The Martin Chronicles is working on a fast-developing, breaking story. As we previously reported, a number of residents are displaying signs that politely read, "Mayor Martin Please Resign Now". The last time we checked, the signs would be protected speech under the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Well, at least everywhere but perhaps in Villa Hills.
Earlier this evening, witnesses saw a Martin appointee to the City's Civil Service Board, Phil Harmon, and his wife pull one of the signs without permission or any legal authority to do so. They tossed the sign into their truck and exited the City on Western Reserve.
Sources confirm that the Villa Hills Police Department has been contacted about the incident. We will bring you more details as we receive them.
