The Martin Chronicles is pleased that roughly 150 residents attended the Town Hall Council Candidate meeting held in Villa Madonna Academy's theater last evening. But, we are not pleased that Mary Koenig, Brian Wischer, Dave Hilgeford, Summer Berger and Jennifer Yost-Vaden evidently don't care enough about the residents of the city they claim they want to "serve" to show up to answer questions. Basic math says some of these shameful people will be elected. But we hope the voters minimize the damage that they will otherwise do.
Some people will never grasp the fact that The Martin Chronicles has reporters and sources everywhere. These folks go to the civic club, have a few too many beers and reveal who they really are.
Do you want a couple of examples? Sure you do.
1. Former Ethic Board Chairman Larry McGovern attended part of last night's Town Hall. Then he returned to the civic club to blast the Sensible Citizens Group. McGovern lied about the number of people who attended the event. McGovern lied when he claimed that the Sensible Citizens Group "censored" the candidate questions. McGovern lied-or is too stupid to understand-about the fact that the audience was very upset about the five candidates who must think its beneath them to answer questions from the residents. Martin would be proud of McGovern's lies.
2. The malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin was at the civic club entertaining the ass clowns with his usual "F-Bomb" routine. Here is what Martin said,
"F--- these candidate forums. F--- the Sensible Citizens. I don't give a F---- what the stupid F---ing voters think. I am going to do whatever the F--- I want after they re-elect me. F--- the other council candidates. I told my candidates not to go. I'll get 'em all F-ing elected!"
It is our sincere hope that the voters tell Martin to F--- OFF on November 4.
