The Martin Chronicles beloved publisher reminded us that this day represents our Third Anniversary of covering the law-breaking antics of the corrupt, incompetent and mostly malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin of Villa Hills. Three years. One thousand and seventy days. One thousand and eighty-three posts (this makes one thousand and eighty-four). And now, in only twenty-six days, one mayoral candidate and six council candidates will be celebrating victory.
We truly appreciate our huge readership. Even those "particians" who consider us "vile and disgusting". With nearly two hundred and seventy thousand reader visits, The Martin Chronicles has become a viable force to be reckoned with. And, we believe, we have made a difference. Witness the soon-to-be-former Judge Executive Steve Arlinghaus who foolishly allowed himself to be seduced in to Villa Hills politics. It lost him his primary re-election bid.
Our beloved publisher also reminded us that we were the first to break almost every story in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's Villa Hills. We know full well that the dinosaur media constantly looks to us for new stories. We are happy to oblige.
You see, Mike Martin represents the very worst of American politics. Martin's sole focus has been revenge. All evidence points to that fact. We don't need to recount all of the proof now.
We also know that if Martin is defeated on November 4 that he will not do the right thing and just go away. The miscreant Martin will work behind the scenes to undermine the next mayor, only because he is not a man who "does great things for people", but instead a sociopath.
That is why our beloved publisher has asked us to stay on. We have all agreed. We aren't going anywhere. No matter how much money we may lose passing on new assignments.
