BREAKING NEWS: Martin's Taxpayer-Funded Political Mailer Will Prove Costly

The Martin Chronicles has learned that a prominent local attorney is contacting all of the mayoral and council candidates in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin Villa Hills. Everyone except for the misspending Martin, that is.

Why is this barrister making those contacts? Because the attorney intends to then immediately contact Martin with the demand that the taxpayers foot the bill for a political mailing for every other mayoral and council candidate to every residence in the city.

Martin is going to have a very, very difficult time finding a legal reason to refuse the demand. Not that he won't pay his personal-and now City-Attorney Toad V. McMurtry (of Gerner & Kerns) several thousand taxpayer dollars to try and find one.

You see, Martin has created a very-costly-to-the-taxpayers precedent. How? By just misusing taxpayer-funded employees, paper, copier, envelopes and postage to send out a political propaganda piece of his own.

It's not only the fair and right thing for Martin to do, it is the remedy the Attorney General would impose to rectify the misdirecting Martin's recent election law violation. We guess Martin will have to call Bohman and Bree back from their suspensions for "political activity" to process all of those candidates' mailings.

By the way, a resident who stopped in to the city building to pay their tax bill earlier today noticed that both Bohman and Bree weren't in the office. The resident saw Martin sneaking around near the new city safe and asked the diminutive dictator where the two over-paid-by-the-taxpayer employees were. You know what Martin said, don't you?

"Craigory and Suzy are just taking a few days off."
