"You Could Say That, Yes."

The Martin Chronicles guesses many of you watched Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's personal-and now taxpayer-funded City-Attorney Toad V. McMurtry (of the real estate law firm of Gerner and Kearns) present the tiny tyrant's trumped up attempt to fire Police Chief Dan Goodenough last night. Martin's case against the Chief and McMurtry's pathetic presentation of it are a sick joke.

There was one moment that completely betrayed the fact that Martin's attack on Goodenough is nothing more than a witch hunt. It occurred when the miniature mullah Martin was on the witness stand.

During his testimony, Martin admitted that he never, ever, even once for a couple of seconds sat down with Chief Goodenough to express absolutely any concern over matters for which the diminutive dictator now wants to fire Goodenough.

Martin was then asked if it was actually him who had been derelict in his duty by not speaking to the Chief about any of these issues for three long years. Martin's answer should have put an immediate stop to the sham hearing.

For perhaps the first time in his adult like the mendacious Martin clearly spoke the truth. His answer sums up not only this latest embarrassment, it sums up the ridiculous mess of the last three and a half years.

What did Martin answer when asked-if in effect-this whole mess was actually his fault? He said, "You could say that, yes". Thanks Mayor Martin, that's exactly what we will say.

As we just wrote, Martin's admission should have brought an immediate halt to the witch hunt. But it didn't. The cauldrons will be bubbling up toil and trouble again next Monday night.

More reporting to follow.
