Do you see where we're heading? Sure you do. The election that will decide the future course of the troubled town along the banks of the Ohio is just about to begin. This election campaign should prove to be one of the most exciting in awhile. We can't wait to cover it.
Sure, we hear the public fretting of those folks who worry that the misdirecting Martin will now begin to act on his behavior and prepare to fool us yet again on November 4. But the mendacious Martin is now a "very well-scouted opponent". The Martin Chronicles now knows Martin's deceptive moves. So does the voting public. Best yet, so will Martin's opponent.
It isn't now what it once was. Martin ran as a phony good government outsider-zealot in 2010, making FALSE proclamations about the unnecessary need for transparency, cooperation, honesty and integrity in the mayor's office. You see, all of those things were already there.
But Martin's election did bring change. All of you have seen it first hand. You have seen Martin's cover-ups of everything from ILLEGAL DESTRUCTION OF CITY RECORDS to HIS PROFLIGATE WASTE OF TAXPAYER MONEY ON LAWYERS AND LEGAL FEES PURSUING HIS PERSONAL VENDETTA AGAINST THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT.
You heard for yourself Martin's dictatorial edicts that he was "the CEO", that all of the decisions were his and his alone and that if you didn't like it, you'd simply have to "get over it" because he was "moving on".
You heard for yourself the media reports about Martin's intimidation, harassment of and threats to City employees. You've heard for yourself the media reports of Martin's signing of Executive Orders granting himself the unprecedented power to have dissidents ARRESTED.
You have seen his ABJECT INABILITY TO WORK WITH HIS FIRST CITY COUNCIL. Then, after Martin and his hillbilly lynchmob DUPED desperate voters in to surrounding the tiny tyrant with an entirely new council in 2012, you have all witnessed Martin's ABJECT INABILITY TO WORK WITH THE NEW COUNCIL.
You watched as Martin forced through that new council the hiring of his personal attorney to serve as the controversial City Attorney. The results of that move has cost the taxpayers a SHOCKING FORTUNE.
Most recently? You all watched Martin DISHONESTLY tell the media that now-former Police Chief Dan Goodenough was simply "taking a few days off" immediately followed by an ugly, VERY COSTLY public spectacle of two rounds of dismissal hearings for the police chief. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.
But consider this. The mallet-headed Martin is rapidly running out of time:
- There are only 137 days remaining from this Saturday until the candidate filing deadline for Villa Hills November 4 Election Day.
- That is only 3,288 hours from this Saturday.
- That is only 197,280 minutes from this Saturday.
- That is only 11,836,800 seconds from this Saturday.
- That is only 4 more City Council meetings from this Saturday.
