Mob(ster) Mentality In Martinville

The Martin Chronicles continues to follow the unfolding story of Villa Hills mobster Mayor Mike Martin's reckless and dishonest efforts to oust long-serving Police Chief Dan Goodenough. The shocking facts are breaking fast and furious.

We have learned that-as many Villa Hills residents are now doing-former Villa Hills Mayor Dennis Stein recently phoned State Representative Adam Koenig. You know, Mary Koenig's career-politician son.

Mr. Stein called young Adam to state his opposition to Koenig's House Bill 183. You may remember that we posted about HB 183 back on January 11. HB 183 is young Koenig's attempt to help his pal Martin and Momma Mary by providing them an unfettered hand to finish the destruction of the Villa Hills Police Department. Plain and simple.

Sure, we've done our homework on Mr. Stein. We know he can be very direct. The former mayor is certainly not one to beat around the bush. But many sources have also told us that Mr. Stein is a very smart person. We have no doubt that Mr. Stein spoke very strongly and very directly to Mr. Koenig about the true purpose of HB183. But, we also have no doubt that Mr. Stein would not have said anything that crossed the line.

But remember, this is Mike Martin's world. Everyone else is just living in it. At least for now.

Well, not all that long after Mr. Stein ended his call to Adam Koenig, the Stein residence was visited by the Kentucky State Police. Why? Because State Representative Koenig called the State Police and accused Mr. Stein of "threatening" him.

Isn't that something? Much like the malevolent Martin, Koenig evidently has no trouble using taxpayer money to bully people who dare to challenge him. It certainly seems like a clear case of abuse of power and intimidation.

But something tells us it didn't work in this particular case.
