The most recent of the not-so-special "Special" Meetings that was supposed to be held tonight once again ended up going by the wayside. "Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick"-as ESPN's Chris Berman would say-Martin's clock is running out.
After extensive discussions with several sources, we are fairly convinced that the mendacious Martin is staring at a serious, looming deadline. It appears that the mismanaging Martin is seeking City Council's approval to negotiate a taxpayer-funded settlement in time to reduce his personal liability regarding his LIBEL, SLANDER and DEFAMATION lawsuit that may otherwise cost him dearly.
So far, so bad. At least for the diminutive dictator.
