We CAN Believe "All Of This Stuff Is Going On".

The Martin Chronicles is looking back yet again to the December 30, 2000 article published in The Kentucky Enquirer, written by then-reporter Patrick Crowley entitled, "Turmoil engulfs Villa Hills". Isn't it damned ironic how history seems to repeat itself as turmoil once again engulfs the three-and-a-half square mile patch of Northern Kentucky known as Villa Hills?

Do you want some more damned irony? Well, Crowley quotes current-wrecking ball Mayor Mike Martin (then just a pandering private citizen) criticizing the actions of then-wrecking ball Mayor Steve Clark. Martin cloyingly said, "I can't believe all this stuff is going on."

Why? Because then-wrecking ball Mayor Steve Clark was wreaking havoc on the Villa Hills Police Department because he almost got away with fired its then-Police Chief Michael "Corky" Brown. You see, many people believe Clark fired Brown simply because the then-Police Chief dared to cooperate in to an investigation of $25,050 that went missing some time the year before.

So what's the damned irony? Martin-once again, the current-wrecking ball mayor-is not only trying to end the career of current-Police Chief Dan Goodenough. Oh no, the crazy Martin believes he can do far more than that. How so? Well, Martin is also trying to destroy the reputation of current-Assistant Police Chief Joe Schutzman and disband the entire Villa Hill Police Department in hopes of providing shoddy-at-best police coverage for his entire City. Why, who the hell knows?

Here is where we part ways with the Martin quote published in that December 30, 2000 The Kentucky Enquirer article. You see, The Martin Chronicles can believe all of this (current) stuff is going on.

Let us tell you what a growing number of people believe.
  • Our sources have absolutely convinced us that Martin has always had it out for Assistant Chief Joe Schutzman. You see, Martin has always known that Schutzman also served as the City's building and zoning inspector for even longer than Martin has been doing unlicensed electrical and plumbing work in Villa Hills. What better way to throw Schutzman off the trail of his unlicensed work than for the then-Councilman Mike Martin to launch a bizarre, City-sponsored investigation in to Schutzman's building and zoning work shortly after the now-diminutive dictator was elected to City Council in 2004?
  • Our sources have also absolutely convinced us that Martin has dedicated himself to ending the career of Villa Hills Police Chief Dan Goodenough ever since Goodenough actually dared to talk to the media after Martin's 2007 ARREST FOR FORGERY. This despite THE FACT that four separate, respected appellate judges opined that Martin did indeed commit FORGERY when he signed his deceased mother's name on several of the checks intended for her and CASHED THEM.
  • Our sources have also convinced us that Martin's hare-brained scheme to disband the entire Villa Hills Police Department are nothing more than the tiny tyrant's revenge for his RIGHTEOUS 2007 FORGERY ARREST.
Want some more damned irony? Then-wrecking ball Mayor Steve Clark recruiter-once again-Councilmember Mary Koenig is now back on hand to try to prop up the actions of current wrecking ball Mayor Mike Martin. And Koenig is as nasty as she damned ironically ever was.

Oh, these aren't the only people who might just be about to be served. We can't wait to report on everything that is about to happen. We absolutely love the damned irony of it all.

So here we are. Damned ironic, isn't it?
