Sources tell us that one-term-councilman-failed-stat-sentate-candidate-arrested-for-running-a-police-barricade-while-drunk-and-transporting-a-box-of-marijuana Jim Noll spent his Good Friday doing some heavy drinking with Villa Hills’ Councilman Brian R. Wischer at Irene’s Little Bar in Crescent Springs. What’s one more DUI, after all?
The Martin Chronicles reporting staff is listening to the residents of malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin’s Villa Hills to get “the vibe” of current thought in the embarrassed suburb. No, we don’t have any “metrics” or “data points”. At least not yet. But our reporters tell us that there seems to be a growing sense amongst those who will be casting a vote on November 4, 2014 that the ROOT CAUSE of ALL of the MANY PROBLEMS in their city’s government is indeed the mendacious Martin.
Martin won a very narrow victory in 2010 after conducting one of the nastiest, LIE-filled campaigns in modern Northern Kentucky politics. And truth be told, that is really saying something. He managed to convince just a handful of voters more than 50% that it was time for change despite the fact that Villa Hills had just been voted the Number One city in Northern Kentucky. In retrospect, his victory says much more about the apathetic populace and the magnitude of Martin’s LIES.
Oh, there were warning signs that presaged what was to come. The mendacious Martin was SUING THE TAXPAYERS, THE POLICE CHIEF AND THE DETECTIVE FOR $1.505 MILLION as a result of his 2007 FORGERY ARREST. Despite the fact that two separate courts ruled that the meat-headed Martin was “barking up the wrong tree”, an extremely narrow margin of voters put THE LITTLE LIAR in to power over the future of the city.
As bad as that was, that wasn’t the end of it. The situation was made even worse by pathetic news coverage by the failing The Kentucky Enquirer. Voters acted on the FALSE belief that the many, many problems of Martin’s first two dreadful years in office were a result of nothing more than “bickering” and “infighting” over the outcome of the 2010 election and voted out the four councilmen who stood up against Martin’s radicalism.
This despite THE FACT that Special Counsel Phil Taliaferro proved that Martin had been engaged in ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES and provided more than enough evidence that lead to Martin being CONVICTED ON SEVEN OF NINE COUNTS OF OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT AND NEGLECT OF DUTY.
Barely four months in to Martin’s “Golden Moment”, voters have learned how Martin has PAID HIMSELF more than $23,000 OF YOUR MONEY and of his SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE CITY’S POLICE DEPARTMENT. This plan to DISBAND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT flies in the face of well over two years of Martin’s LIES that everyone was “just going to have to learn to work together”.
Voters have also seen the ugly spectacle of a “Stalin-esque” Martin standing before attendees at the March council meeting, pointing his finger at them and yelling at them that he was going to have the police remove them from the chambers. The attendees’ crime? They politely asked when they were going to have their turn to speak. Martin had placed “PUBLIC COMMENT” on his meeting agenda, after all. It was a colossal disgrace and embarrassment for a city that has already been embarrassed far too much by Martin’s egregious behavior.
In case you are wondering, it’s going to get much worse. YOU WILL NOW BE PAYING MARTIN’S PERSONAL ATTORNEY TO SERVE AS CITY ATTORNEY. And Martin has disguised his hire of supposed “City Clerk” Craig Bohman to serve as CITY ADMINISTRATOR. Why? Because these two money-grubbing mercenaries will serve as HATCHET MEN to assist Martin’s dismantling of YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT.
Villa Hills now has to wait until November 4, 2014 to see if there is any chance to correct THE 2010 MISTAKE OF ELECTING MARTIN. It won’t be easy. Be ready for Martin, his loudmouthed wife Janet, the Tea Party wing nuts, the neo-Nazis, The St. Jokers Heavy Drinking Men’s Society and the rest of their HILLBILLY LYNCHMOB to engage in another mud bath of LIES.
How much damage will Martin inflict on the city in the meantime?
