- Special Counsel Phil Taliaferro and his co-counsel Anna Hines arrived at the City Building to interview Villa Hills City employees Derrick Yelton, Scott Smith, Chief Dan Goodenough and Kimberly Robbins.
- Interim City Clerk Sue Bree immediately contacted Mayor Martin to alert him to Special Counsel's arrival.
- Martin called the City Building. He threatens the employees, warning them he will not pay them. Several sources confirm that Martin was screaming so loudly at the employees that he could be distinctly heard by people several feet away from the telephone.
Let's see if we have this correct. Martin is the target of the investigation. City Council has the Statutory right to investigate the activities of the mayor's office. So Martin is misusing his authority to impede the investigation. Obstruction of justice?
Wouldn't an innocent man have resolved this many, many months ago? WHY HAS MARTIN SQUANDERED TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS DUCKING THE INVESTIGATION?
