What "Golden Moment"?

The Martin Chronicles knows it's been less than six months since the Villa Hillbilly tidal wave swept in a brand new crew of councilpeople the voters hoped would "finally work with" malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin. But it may as well be six years.

Wrong-headed voters crossed their fingers last November as they cast their ballots for the likes of vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig and the lame, loopy HBM-I. The voters were desperately hoping the mismanaging Martin could finally have his "Golden Moment". Martin could finally show everyone what he could do. Martin could strut his stuff, so to speak.

In reality, that is exactly what the corrupt Martin is doing. It's quite obvious what Martin can do. He's out of excuses. He can't blame the past council. He can't blame the former City Attorney. He can't blame the Civil Service Commission. His excuses have been stripped away like so much rotten bark off a dead tree. Best of all? Martin has been the one doing the bark-stripping.

Just since January 1, 2013 Martin has:

• Been caught LYING about his SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT.
• Hired his personal attorney to also serve as his TAXPAYER-FUNDED City Attorney.
• Sparked a near-riot at the April Council meeting because of his lack of self-control.
• Signed an Executive Order in to law giving him sweeping-and unprecedented-power to have residents arrested.
• Proposed a budget that includes the MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX INCREASE ALLOWED BY LAW for the third straight year.
• Has been forced to ask council to amend the City's budget by tens of thousands of dollars for the second consecutive year because of his dreadful MISMANAGEMENT of the TAXPAYER'S MONEY.
• Hired a City Administrator disguised as a City Clerk who begins SPYING ON EMPLOYEES before he completes his first week on the job.

Yes, Martin is showing everyone exactly what he can do. And whether you want to believe it or not, if you voted for Martin in 2010, the little fella's LIBELOUS 2012 door-to-door manifesto was correct.

WEEKENDER: What Came First, The Chicken Or The Toad?

The Martin Chronicles intelligent readers know we think Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin exhibited terrible judgment-huge surprise-hiring his personal attorney Toad McMurtry to also serve as the TAXPAYER-FUNDED City Attorney. McMurtry comes in to the fray already burdened with a heavy load of ill will he himself generated when he accused several City employees and former council people of committing all manner of crimes during his dreadful performance at Martin's removal hearing last October.

There are also unanswered questions about the timing of McMurtry's hiring. We know that McMurtry's former law firm billed the City of Villa Hills roughly $1,500 for a review of the City's Personnel Policy Manual back in September 2012. We also know that McMurtry was engaged as Martin's personal attorney somewhere in that same time frame.

Sources believe it is possible that there was a conflict created when Martin engaged McMurtry as his personal attorney while McMurtry's law firm was also doing work for the City government. A close look at the Toad McMurtry/Mike Martin paper trail could resolve some of these concerns.

It's common practice for a "waiver of conflict" to be signed under these circumstances. Did that happen? And if so, who signed it? Would it be appropriate for Martin to sign the "waiver of conflict" document when he was a central figure in that conflict? Did the previous City Attorney review the matter? If so, is there a record of that review? These are all fair-and important-questions that should be answered. But is there anyone on City Council with the courage to ask the questions?

Why would council people be hesitant to seek answers? We have no doubt that the spectacle of Martin's hillbilly lynchmob-adorned in their ridge-runner "witch hunt" hats- is fresh in the minds of these council people. Who really wants to contend with that?

Besides, Martin has demonstrated time and again that he believes the rules simply don't apply to him. Sources have given us some background on Toad McMurtry that seems to indicate that Martin's personal-and now also TAXPAYER-FUNDED City-Attorney has that same dismissive attitude about those rules everyone else is expected to follow. For that reason, we don't expect any properly-documented explanation any time soon.

While we're on the subject of Toad, people are still laughing about the letter-to-the-editor published in this week's weekly newspaper. Why? One wag was overheard saying, "So calling McMurtry 'Toad' means you write The Martin Chronicles? What the heck? EVERYBODY is calling McMurtry 'Toad' now. It just fits!"

The Martin Chronicles staff still reads the weekly newspaper. Every now and again we find something that's worth a comment of our own. We came across a letter-to-the-editor that goes a long way toward explaining the boat load of problems in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's Villa Hills.

The letter writer seems to think we are picking on some folks. Well, we are. There is good reason for it. We plan to continue. Let's do a quick review.

The St. Jokers: Our intelligent readers know that "The St. Jokers" are not everyone who belongs to St. Joseph Parish in Crescent Springs. Most of the families who attend the church, send their children to the school and help at the festival and elsewhere are fine folks. But the know-it-all, holier-than-thou, elitist St. Jokers are a major reason Villa Hills is in its current, sorry state. You know it. They know it. We know it.

The Civic Club Ass Clowns: Our intelligent readers also know that there are some fine folks at the old civic club. Some of them provide us with great leads as well. But there is a holdover contingent that gravitates to the bar several nights a week who do nothing but whip up fear and loathing. They are holdovers from the scandalous embezzlement days from not that many years ago. These ass clowns are a major reason Villa Hills is in its current, sorry state. You know it. They know it. We know it.

You know what else? If someone thinks that reporting the exact words council people say and the things that they do is "making fun" of them, that sure says a lot about those council people. And what it says isn't the least bit good. We aren't going to turn a blind eye while these council people tear what's left of the City apart for some foolish vision of "peace".

Next up? We have a guy who told the police one very important thing and then told a completely different story to the Special Counsel investigating the malfeasant Martin. By most definitions, one of the two things this guy said was a lie.

Not just a little white lie. This guy is one of those responsible for Villa Hills' current, sorry state. This guy is one of those responsible for maintaining-in fact, worsening-an environment in which the malevolent Martin continues his vendetta against the Villa Hills Police Department.

This guy's action most likely emboldened Martin to step out from behind the LIE he had been telling for years, now admitting that he wants to DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT.

This guy's action most likely emboldened Martin to remove a security door at the police department, putting Chief Dan Goodenough and Detective Schutzman at greater risk.

This guy's action most likely emboldened Martin to sign an Executive Order providing a mayor with sweeping, unprecedented power to have residents arrested.

This guy's action most likely emboldened Martin to hire his personal attorney to also serve as TAXPAYER-FUNDED City Attorney.

This guy's action most likely emboldened Martin to cut himself a $23,000-PLUS TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK.

This guys action most likely emboldened Martin to hire a City Administrator disguised as a City Clerk who is spying on police officers.

This guy may not want to face it. But he is an enabler of Martin's continuing malfeasance. There is just no way around that FACT. You know it. They know it. We know it.

Judging by the signs all over the City expressing support for the Villa Hills Police Department, this guy and the editorial writer are on the wrong side of history.

Public Hearing About What?

The Martin Chronicles read the article dutifully posted on cincinnati.com. The story reports that Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin intends to turn his May 8 SECRET MEETING in to a non-public-public hearing at River Ridge Elementary School. Scalded by the spectacle he alone sparked at the April non-SECRET MEETING (that led to an Executive Order giving him the unprecedented power to have residents arrested), Martin says he is now “graciously” going to allow the public to comment on his no-longer-SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Except for THE FACT that the public will most likely not have anything upon which to comment.

Why do we write this? Because Martin will not have brought THE DETAILS of his no-longer-SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT forward for review by the public-commenting or otherwise- before May 8. The non-public-public hearing is a complete sham. Why? Because-much like he has been doing since he began LYING about this during his 2010 dirtbag mayoral campaign-Martin will tell people he hasn’t really done anything yet.

Brace yourself. But Martin simply isn’t telling THE TRUTH. Why? Because he began his effort to finally rid himself of the police department who he blames for his 2007 FORGERY ARREST even before he was elected mayor. This despite THE FACT that Martin signed a DECEASED PERSON’S NAME on the same DECEASED PERSON’S CHECKS and CASHED THOSE CHECKS. This despite THE FACT that an appellate judge wrote that what Martin did FIT THE VERY DEFINITION OF FORGERY. The only thing that saved Martin from prison was Rob Sanders’ mishandling of his case. Sources confirm that Martin and former Councilman Mike Pope met with officials from the City of Erlanger about providing police protection smack dab in the middle of Martin’s LIBELOUS and DEFAMATORY 2010 mayoral campaign.

So what will happen? Those opposed to Martin’s SECRET PLAN will come to the podium and express their support for the Villa Hills Police Department.  The civic club ass clowns, neo-Nazis, gun-nuts, Tea Party fanatics, St. Jokers, local loons and the rest of the Martin maniacs may very well come to the podium to talk about the need for “saving a whole bunch of money” and whine about the times they received a ticket for parking on the street during a Snow Emergency.

What the heck? Why not? It’s the mendacious Martin, after all. Vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig Cabana Boy City Clerk/City Administrator and creepy employee-stalker Craig Bohman may even produce “compromising” photos he has taken of Villa Hills’ police officers. Martin will serve as the DISHONEST ringmaster for a complete-and bogus-circus.

Councilman Jim Cahill will say that Martin has promised to come to council before he takes any action. "Peace in our time", remember? But does anyone other than Cahill-and the maniacal Martinites-believe Martin at this point? Martin has told LIE after LIE after LIE after LIE after LIE after all. Why has Martin been lying? That's easy. Because Martin is a LIAR.

Martin will re-assure the attendees that no decision has been made. This despite the fact that the decision has already been made. If Martin gets his way, the local police department will be disbanded. And it will be disbanded before 2013 is over.

 Make no mistake about that.

Or, will Martin use his favorite human shield-the well-respected Jim Cahill-as an excuse if something goes haywire. Cahill did give Bohman his highest recommendation, after all.]

 

Will He Say He Saved Us Money?

The Martin Chronicles remembers the tumultuous Villa Hills Mayor Steve Clark era. Clark was recruited by the-vile-but-not-quite-so-ancient-at-the-time Councilman Mary Koenig to unseat then-Mayor Denny Stein. Clark ran in to some trouble right out of the starting gate. Nothing nearly as bad as current miscreant Mayor Mike Martin. But trouble nevertheless.

The incident that really got the Clark ball rolling downhill towards the exits was roughly $25,000 that went missing. Clark later maintained that he wrote the $25,000 check never intending that it should be cashed. You don't say? Is that a fact?

Clark explained that he put the check in the City's Clerk's desk. Why? Because he wanted to save that $25,000 for later sidewalk construction. Oh? Is that right? We aren't sure how sticking a check in a desk drawer assures that the money will be saved. But if you say so.

So how did the money go missing? Well, as  Clark's explanation went, that rascally City Clerk accidentally mailed the $25,000 check to a concrete company and, well, uh, er, those varmints cashed the check! Hey, it wasn't Clark's fault that the City Clerk and concrete company fouled up his brilliant plan.

My, my. Funny how history repeats itself. Yes, the vile ancient crocodile Mary Koenig is back in the mix. Yes, current miscreant Mayor Mike Martin is taking more flak than a flight of B17's over WWII Stuttgart. But no, it's not a $25,000 check that a City Clerk accidentally mailed and a concrete company accidentally cashed.

No, its more brazen than that. How is that possible? Well, the misappropriating Martin has cut himself a $23,000 TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK. It gets better. Martin has no intention of cooking up some Rube Goldberg-style explanation for how he ENRICHED HIMSELF WITH $23,000 OF YOUR MONEY.

No way. He says if he provides documentation proving that his $23,000 BONUS CHECK is kosher, he might have to change checking accounts again. Everyone is always picking on the little fella. If you say so. Poor baby.

Hey, Clark cut a $25,000 check. Martin PAID HIMSELF $23,000. You can bet it won't be long before Martin announces that he SAVED THE CITY $2,000.

This would be hilarious. If it wasn't true.



Paranoia Runs Deep

The Martin Chronicles wants to know just what Cabana Boy Craig Bohman is up to. Can it be another example of Villa Hills’ malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin’s paranoid dissociative fugue that has been absolutely destroying the once-proud City of Villa Hills for the last few years? You know, since the mental-case Mike Martin announced his mayoral candidacy in August 2010.

We wonder just why newly-minted City Clerk/City Administrator – and vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig Cabana Boy –Craig Bohman is following Villa Hills police officers around and taking cell phone photos of them? This seems like very odd behavior for someone who came with the absolute highest recommendation from newly-minted Councilman Jim Cahill and other well-respected folks, doesn’t it?

So Bohman uses the excuse that he was coming from a Kenton County Mayor’s Group meeting at Villa Madonna as his rationale for taking cell phone pictures of Villa Hills’ police officers? Is this what Edgewood’s John Link, Independence Mayor Chris Moriconi or Crestview Hills’ Paul Meier’s has their City Clerk/City Administrator’s-or other underlings-do? We seriously doubt it. Frankly, the odd spying makes no damned sense. Unless Bohman is sycophantically trying to do the bidding of his lunatic boss.

Has vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig brought her Cabana Boy Bohman on board just to provide an excuse for firing Police Chief Dan Goodenough and Detective Joe Schutzman? Koenig is responsible for the unlawful termination of another Police Chief, after all. Is Bohman just the follow-up to the stage that was set by the malevolent Martin’s hiring of his personal-and now also TAXPAYER-FUNDED City-Attorney Toad McMurtry who accused both police officers of committing terrible crimes during Martin’s removal hearing last October? Those two boys-Toad McMurtry and Cabana Boy Bohman-do have a pre-existing relationship, after all.

The voters foolishly added HBM-I and High Flyin’ Brian Wischer to the council mix last November as well. Were these misguided voters hoping that Holly Boo-Boo and the inexplicably-relaxed Wischer would make the voting difference in passing Martin’s now-accidentally revealed SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT? We don’t think so. We guess it’s possible. But not likely. Martin was vehemently-and dishonestly-denying that he was even considering DISBANDING THE CITY’S POLICE FORCE. At least until he was caught in yet another LIE.

It is becoming increasingly clear that HBM-I is nothing more than Mary Koenig’s puppet. Remember? As Holly Boo-Boo was finishing her unintelligible report at the last non-SECRET meeting, she asked Koenig, “Is there anything else you want me to say?” Good grief. HBM-I and Wischer don’t realize that Koenig has a shameful history of using pawns to serve as human shields so that she can carry out her dirty work more-or-less unscathed.

Could it be that the Cabana Boy Craig Bohman is spying at the behest of the ultra-paranoid-who is now enriched by $23,000-plus of YOUR MONEY through a BONUS he paid himself-Villa Hills’ malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin? If so, this is something that would make even resigned-President Richard M. Nixon blush with embarrassment.

Bohman has only been on the job six days and he is already spying on City employees? Seriously? We wonder if the mismanaging Martin did a background check on Bohman before he hired him.

You need to know this is exactly what’s happening. It is going to get much worse before it gets better. November 4, 2014 can't get here soon enough.

WEEKENDER: Saving Money?

The Martin Chronicles has always believed that those who control the language also control the debate. If the deciding factor whether or not Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's no-longer SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT is some fantasy about "saving money" and "outsourcing" moves forward, it will because the debate was held over the wrong issue.

The mendacious Martin, vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig, her pinheaded puppets HBM-I, High-Flyin' Brian R. Wischer and their surrogate skunks like Chucky Fieger are trying to make the argument that their euphemistic "outsourcing" will "save a whole bunch of money". The opposition to Martin's no-longer SECRET PLAN are correctly expressing concern about "safety". Will the public be caught up in more of Martin's false promises about "saving money" or will they come down on the side of having the proper level of police protection to keep them safe? And will it matter what the public thinks anyway?

It hasn't been that long ago that another pernicious politician went around beating his chest about "saving money". Oh, you know who he was. It was the bilious blowhard Kounty Boss Steve Arlinghaus? His LIE? Arlinghaus falsely claimed that Cities would save ONE MILLION DOLLARS by contracting for emergency dispatch services with Kenton Kounty.

What will be the actual savings? Hmmm, well, er, uh, eh, oh, THERE WILL BE NO SAVINGS AT ALL. NONE. ZIP. NADA. ZILCH. But it doesn't matter. Arlinghaus already got what he wanted. If you don't like it-TOO BAD.

Remember, the mismanaging Martin is a protege of Arlinghaus. Arlinghaus was a regular guest at Villa Hills council meetings, describing the Special Counsel investigation in to Martin's corruption as "a witch hunt". We have been unable to find any Arlinghaus' reaction TO MARTIN'S CONVICTION ON SEVEN OF NINE CHARGES OF OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT AND NEGLECT OF DUTY. It is quite rare for the blowhard Arlinghaus to be silent about anything.

Will people believe it when Martin makes the same false claim about "huge savings" if council gives him the three "yes" votes he needs to DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS PD? Does Martin care whether you believe it or not?

Consider this. Villa Hills is dealing with an unprecedented, serious crime wave. Trained experts have been saying that this crime wave is a direct result of the fact that Martin continues to stubbornly keep the police department under-staffed.

Will a police-force-for-hire make things better or worse? Yeah, we're talking to YOU.

More On Martin: Hillbilly Hoedown In The Works

The Martin Chronicles absolutely loves the fact that Villa Hills malevolent Mayor Mike Martin and vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig simply can't help themselves. We probably shouldn't write this, but we will. We can read those two like a book.

What do we see coming now? Well, the miasmic Martin announced that he was going to convert May's SECRET MEETING into a non-public public hearing. What a magnanimous gesture, huh? But the horrific Koenig accidentally tipped their heinous hands.

How did the nasty old hag do that? Well, she reminded Martin that the non-public public hearing should be about "more than (here comes that cloying euphemism) outsourcing".

So what does that mean? Well, for the uninitiated, it means that the May 8 non-public public hearing will actually be a "LET'S BASH THE VILLA HILLS POLICE" hillbilly hoedown along the lines of the sham candidate forums the ass clowns at the civic club hold every two years.

We can see it now. Every loon, wing nut, gun nut, ass clown, Tea Party fanatic, St. Joker, neo-Nazi, hand-wringer, mule-skinner, rumpot, crackpot, mug, pug, thug, nitwit, half-wit, dimwit, viper, sniper, con man, Indian agent, mule skinner, shin-kicker, boot-licker and Cordelia Schaber will bitterly complain about all of the mistreatment and poor service they have received at the hands of the Villa Hills Police.

All the while Martin will sit there with his arms folded and his slack-jaw jutting out. You know. Like a much dumber version of Benito Mussolini.

The pro-police folks had better be ready.

Some Meeting Highlights And Lowlights

The Martin Chronicles observed last night's NON-SECRET MEETING miasma with a mix of amusement and revulsion. Watching Villa Hills' malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin attempt to run a professional meeting is like watching a two year-old boy trying to tie his shoes. It's painful to watch. But we do it any way. Why? We do it as a public service to our ever-growing audience.

It's very obvious that the misinforming Martin wishes the news of the $23,000 TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK HE PAID HIMSELF hadn't leaked out. Any discussion of that scandalous topic makes the misappropriating Martin very uncomfortable-and very angry. Too bad.

The taxpayers deserve nothing less than a complete and honest-good luck with that-explanation from Martin about how he can justify signing a purchase order that generated a $23,000 TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK TO HIMSELF. Given all the LIBELOUS LIES Martin has been telling since his 2010 dirtbag mayoral campaign and throughout the entire twenty-eight dreadful months of his Reign of Error, don't hold your breath.

One local political observer is offering an alternative theory on Martin's $23,000 TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS. The observer quipped that maybe Martin actually paid himself a 115 MONTH ADVANCE ON HIS MAYOR'S SALARY! Only in Martinville.

It's quite clear that the malevolent Martin doesn't like trying to explain why he removed the security door in the Police Department either. The little fella wants you to believe that he did it so that vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig and her loopy puppet HBM-I can access the restroom. A nasty picture to be sure. Anyway, if that were true, why hasn't Martin removed the door that blocks Koenig and Holly Boo-Boo's access to the restroom in the City Building across the street? His LIE simply doesn't fly.

Here's the truth. Martin removed the security door as part of his ongoing vendetta against the Police Department. He will forever more be sore about his 2007 FORGERY ARREST. No amount of Martin LIES or silly spin by his TAXPAYER-FUNDED GOONS Toad McMurtry and Cabana Boy Craig Bohman can paper over that FACT.

Given Martin's bizarre, brainless budget bombast during his unremarkable years as a crappy councilman, it's truly amazing that the little fella didn't present a professionally polished budget for review and first reading to the council last night. We can only guess that he has a lot more "tweaking" to do. Or, he is awaiting the go-ahead from his "handlers"-Koenig, McMurtry and Bohman. This process is going to be fun to watch.

There were some funny moments last night. At the conclusion of the loopy HBM-I's unintelligible report, she turned to the vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig and asked, "What else do you want me to say?" Koenig could solve this by taking up ventriloquism.

Former long-serving Councilman Tim Sogar may have provided the best moment when he referred to TOAD McMurtry from the podium. Oh, it got better. Mr. Sogar doubled down by "apologizing", saying his mistake was a typo-like Martin's Executive Order appointing TOAD on January 3. Hilarious!

Martin announced that the public will be allowed to comment at his May SECRET MEETING. Great. Thanks. No television. Besides, Martin announced that his plan will remain SECRET at least until October. What can people discuss?

Martin's train is off the tracks and rolling wildly down into the crevasse. Isn't this fun?

April Non-Secret Meeting Tonight

The Martin Chronicles has its network of reporters and informants on full alert. Why? Because Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin is presiding over his embattled burg's monthly NON-SECRET MEETING tonight. Tonight's meeting has the potential to be quite a show.

Hey, whatever happened to the hillbilly tidal wave that surrounded Martin with people who they thought would give the miscreant mayor whatever he wanted? Hmmm. There must be two or three on council who actually value their reputation for honesty and integrity-unlike Martin. Son-of-a-gun. And here some thought-incorrectly-that everyone was getting along.

Sources confirm that the misappropriating Martin is highly agitated about all of the attention being paid to the $23,000-PLUS TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK the little fella recently cut for himself. Does Martin think we should simply trust him? After the mendacious Martin has been caught in LIE after LIE after LIE after LIE after LIE? We don't think Martin has earned one scintilla of the public's trust.

We are told that Martin wants to know who is asking questions about his $23,000-PLUS TAXPAYER FUNDED BONUS CHECK. No, he doesn't plan to answer the questions. He just wants to retaliate against those who have dared to question him.

For the record, there are people all over Villa Hills who don't understand how Mayor Mike Martin can sign a purchase order to issue a check to, well, uh, ummm, err, eh, the same Mayor Mike Martin. Look, Martin justifies retaining the dreadful Cordelia Schaber to foul-up the books to the tune of $47.50 PER TAXPAYER-FUNDED hour because of some phony concern for "segregation of duties". Just how "segregated" were the "duties" when Martin signed the purchase order and check that enriched him by MORE THAN $23,000? Martin's move clearly doesn't pass the proverbial "smell test".

The mismanaging mayor is pulling out all the dishonest stops to excuse his HUGE TAXPAYER-FUNDED PAYOUT. Martin is boo-hooing that he once had to change checking accounts because a check he used in another one of his scams ended up on somebodies website. Poor little fella. So flippin' what? That's no excuse for not properly documenting his pocketing of MORE THAN $23,000 OF YOUR MONEY. Martin is quite the hypocrite.

Our informants also tell us that Martin is once-again employing his "they're all out to get me" defense. He is describing legitimate questions about a misinforming mayor WHO HAS PAID HIMSELF $23,000 OF YOUR MONEY as a "vendetta". While we are fairly convinced that worn-out defense may fly with some of the civic club ass clowns, most people have heard it too many times.

For those of you who may have forgotten:

• Martin falsely described his 2007 FORGERY ARREST as retaliation for his bogus crusade against mythical government corruption. This despite THE FACT that Martin signed a DECEASED person's name on the back of that same DECEASED person's checks and CASHED THEM. The courts tossed out Martin's $1.505 MILLION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE TAXPAYERS, saying what Martin did WAS THE VERY DEFINITION OF FORGERY. So much for that bogus conspiracy theory.
• Martin whipped his low-IQ hillbilly lynchmob in to a frenzy, claiming that he was once-again a victim of a "witch hunt" during the Special Counsel investigation in to his OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT and NEGLECT OF DUTY. Martin wasted TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS dodging, ducking and delaying the investigation-only to be FOUND GUILTY ON SEVEN OF THE NINE COUNTS OF OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT and NEGLECT OF DUTY. Yet another crazy conspiracy theory betrayed as a Martin LIE.

And now we are supposed to believe that any questions about Martin pocketing $23,000 of the TAXPAYER'S MONEY is a vendetta? Much like Martin himself, that conspiracy theory is a complete joke.

But we don't see any humor in it.

Lawfulness??

The Martin Chronicles first wants to extend sympathy to the victims of the terrorist attack in Boston. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. We hope the people responsible will be brought to justice quickly.

We live in a great country. Americans cherish their many freedoms and have always been most willing to take action to protect them. These freedoms come under assault everywhere. Including in the embarrassed burg of Villa Hills.

We can see this coming from a thousand miles away. Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin has hired his personal attorney to now also serve as the TAXPAYER-FUNDED City Attorney. Who is it? The one and only Toad McMurtry.

First Martin signs an Executive Order in to law giving him sweeping powers to have people removed-and even arrested-at any City meeting. Then Martin signs an Executive Order mandating police presence at every City meeting. For the uninitiated, the two are directly connected. The common thread? Martin is attempting to bully his opposition in to silence and submission.

Do you want to know what else is directly connected? Toad McMurtry's creepy comments in a recent article in the feeble weekly newspaper. McMurtry talked about "lawfulness" in that article. "Lawfulness" is Toad McMurtry's threatening "code word" to the opposition to Martin's SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT that they had better SHUT UP.

Martin's Executive Order providing him almost unprecedented power at meetings includes definitions for disrupting meetings, unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct, riot in the second degree, failure to disperse and harassment. Here's what we don't know for sure. Who will be providing the interpretation of these laws and determining whether or not any law has been violated?

In a normal situation, this interpretation and determination would be carried out by law enforcement. But remember, this is Martinville. This is definitely not a normal situation.

Our guess is that Martin himself will be passing judgment on the behavior of those attending City meetings. Oh, and Toad McMurtry will be providing Martin with the "legal" cover to have people removed and even arrested if that is what the malevolent mayor desires. If a court later tosses out an arrest, McMurtry will simply say we should forgive Martin for having what he will oddly describe as "a Mitt Romney moment".

If you watched the March council meeting on the Government Channel, you didn't see very much of Martin's provocative, threatening behavior and comments. WCPO showed more of it. You see, Martin actually provoked the disturbance that night by yelling at people in the audience and actually coming around the council table and wagging his finger in people's faces.

Why did Martin lose control? Mostly because he is nothing more than a thin-skinned, tin-pot dictator who will tolerate no disagreement. Now he has a henchman in McMurtry who will provide cover.

Everyone had better be careful. Or Martin will start "picking you off one at a time".

The Martin Chronicles wants you to consider the situation in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin’s Villa Hills dishonest City government today. Voters surrounded Martin with a council that they hoped-now obviously foolishly-would bring whatever they thought “peace” might be last November. These voters bought in to The Kentucky Enquirer’s misleading stories about “bickering” and “infighting” and ignored the truth. What truth? The truth that the miscreant Martin is a virulent cancer on the City government who is completely incapable of delivering anything but incompetence and corruption.

Four months into the second half of what many are now hoping is the mendacious Martin’s only term in the mayor’s office, the situation has only gotten worse.

·         Martin has written himself a $23,000-PLUS BONUS CHECK and refuses to provide all of the necessary documentation to justify what he has done.

·         Martin’s SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND “OUTSOURCE” FOR LESS SAFE POLICE PROTECTION has been (accidentally) revealed.

·         Martin continues to allow his crony hire $47.50 per hour bucket headed bookkeeper Cordelia Schaber to continue to foul up the taxpayers’ financial records.

·         Martin is trampling all over resident’s Constitutionally-guaranteed rights of assembly and free speech, going so far as to spark a near-riot at the March NON-SECRET monthly meeting.

·         Worst of all, Martin has hired his personal attorney Toad McMurtry to serve as the TAXPAYER-FUNDED City attorney

So why is Martin’s hiring of his personal attorney Toad McMurtry to serve as the TAXPAYER-FUNDED City attorney so bad? All you have to do is read McMurtry’s dreadful comments in a recent article in the feeble weekly newspaper to know why.

McMurtry talks about what he thinks his role will be. He says his job is to return the city to “normalcy” and “lawfulness”. But what does McMurtry mean? We’ve done a great deal of research. The results are disturbing.

McMurtry fully intends to serve as the miscreant Martin’s well-paid “hatchet man”.

·         For reasons we have reporters successfully looking in to, McMurtry will do whatever he can to assist Martin cover the tracks of the $23,000 TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS CHECK the malfeasant mayor cut himself.

·         McMurtry will use whatever ham-handed tactics at his disposal to prevent future meetings from devolving in to riots (that Martin himself would otherwise cause). It is not beyond the realm of possibility that well-meaning residents will be removed from future meetings and even arrested. This won’t be HARDBALL POLITICS. This will be SLIMEBALL POLITICS.

·         McMurtry will use every parliamentary trick available to shut down any opposition that might arise from those on council who are beginning to understand that Martin sees himself as a Villa Hills’ Pepe Lobo.

·         McMurtry will work side-by-side with Martin, vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig and her loopy puppets HBM-I and Brian R. Wischer to ensure that Martin’s SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND “OUTSOURCE” FOR LESS SAFE PROTECTION is carried out.

Given the timidity and flip-flopping of some of the opposition to “outsourcing”, we are fairly convinced that the Villa Hills Police Department is not long for this earth. The only hope is that a majority of voters finally sends the malfeasant Martin-and his henchman McMurtry, Bohman, Bree, Koenig, HBM-, pilfering Phil Harmon and Brian R. Wischer-packing on November 4, 2014.

WEEKENDER: Developing Stories

As we readily admit, none of this would be possible without the seemingly non-stop stream of foul-ups, misdeeds, bleeps and blunders by Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin.

You know what we mean, right? All the foul-ups, misdeeds, bleeps and blunders for which Martin blames everybody else. Martin's twist on Harry Truman's old slogan? "The buck never got here".

Neighborly observations.
We are working on a story about what "hobby" loopy current councilmembers HBM-I, Brian R. Wischer and former loopy councilmember Jim Noll just might share. We have to admit that we were confused at first. We were getting tips from their neighbors as far back as January about those three mowing the grass. It seemed to us that it was way too early in the year for that.

Recent stories have surfaced that may explain why one councilmember speaks without ever saying anything and the other simply sits there and smiles. Stay tuned.

Rows and columns.
While we're on the subject of loopy councilpeople, we almost-again, almost-felt sorry for Holly Boo Boo as she struggled with Police Chief Dan Goodenough's call report at a recent meeting. HBM-I didn't know the difference between rows and columns. For some reason, when another councilmember told her that rows were horizontal she immediately understood.

It got worse. Holly Boo Boo told Goodenough that she had a question about an item on page six of his report. Chief Goodenough gently replied, "Holly, my report only has four pages".

Test anxiety?
We are trying to confirm reports that vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig Cabana Boy Craig Bohman actually failed the City Clerk certification test. It doesn't matter. The misleading Martin really hired Bohman to serve as City Administrator anyway. The City Clerk thing is just a sham. But we are still curious.

Either way, Bohman could always just read the book that led crony-hire giantess MARY HARDMAN to believe it was okay to illegally torch City records.

SECRET PLAN moving forward.
Our informants in Ft. Mitchell, Park Hills, Ludlow, Erlanger and Kenton County tell us that the malevolent Martin is pressing full-speed ahead with his SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT and contract for (LESS SAFE) protection. Vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig is on the record as saying she hopes the issue "has been dealt with" by October.

Was it really a typo?
Some are wondering if the January 3 date on the misleading Martin's Executive Order appointing his personal attorney Toad McMurtry to also begin serving as City Attorney was really a typo. We are told that a series of Open Records requests may be filed to determine when McMurtry actually began providing professional services to the City.

Our guess? Open Records requests will be greeted with a reply tersely stating that the City doesn't have any of those records in its possession.

By the way, many believe that both Toad McMurtry and Cabana Boy Bohman will be providing the misfit Martin with a great deal of TAXPAYER-FUNDED political advice when the 2014 election campaign begins.

Why the BONUS?
Some are speculating that Martin decided to pay himself a TAXPAYER-FUNDED $23,000-plus BONUS because of all the money he claims he has "saved". We still haven't heard Martin's explanation why he is pushing to RAISE YOUR TAXES BY THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT ALLOWED BY LAW if he has "saved" any money at all.

Callery count.
Despite the LIES the mendacious Martin has been telling about his Civil Service Commission, former Covington mayor Butch Callery admitted that Cabana Boy Bohman recruited him to serve on the Commission "several weeks ago".

In a related story, we have learned that Martin has appointed Pilfering Phil Harmon as chairman of the Civil Service Commission. You may remember Harmon. He drove the get-a-way truck as his wife Regina purloined at least one, "Mayor Martin please resign now" yard sign during the tumult of 2012.

Before any of you Martinites get your shorts in a bunch about Harmon, the Villa Hills Police recovered at least one of the pinched sign from the Harmon's truck. It happened.

Is payback against the police coming?

Arrested development?
We suspect we'll have to wait until the mismanaging Martin sends out his agenda for the April 17 NON-SECRET Council meeting-most likely late in the day on April 16-to see what decision he made about the "public comment" portion of his riots-er,uh, meetings. It might be interesting to see if someone can actually talk themselves in to an arrest in just one minute. It could give a whole new meaning to "Gone in sixty seconds".

Sometimes You Have To Fight

The Martin Chronicles is happy to see new people engaging in what is happening in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin’s Villa Hills. These new people attended the March 20 City Council meeting and some even took the time to join Martin’s recent monthly SECRET MEETING. Heck, even yard signs saying, “KEEP OUR VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT” are sprouting up around the little town.  Can our crazy "Cat-In-The-Hat" friend be far behind?

Why are new people coming to meetings? Mostly because they are concerned about the mendacious Martin’s now-revealed SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT and “outsource” for (LESS SAFE) protection.

Sure, you’ve got former-one-term-councilman-failed-State-Senate-candidate-arrested-for-drunk-driving-while-transporting-a-box-of-marijuana Jim Noll writing mean-spirited editorials in support of Martin’s now-revealed SECRET PLAN. And, a couple of neo-Nazis and pinheads also came to the meetings to offer support for the miscreant Martin. But most residents who have any idea what’s going on are highly skeptical of Martin and his now-revealed SECRET PLAN. We believe that is a good sign.

But this will be a tough fight. Any effort to stop Martin’s two-and-a-half-year-in-the-making SECRET PLAN to finally get revenge against Chief Dan Goodenough and Detective Joe Schutzman for his 2007 FORGERY ARREST will be a grueling uphill battle. The voters have unwisely elected Martin and now equally-unwisely given him at least three guaranteed votes to finish his long-standing vendetta. In a weird way, Martin was right in his April 2012 LIBELOUS LETTER TO THE RESIDENTS. How so? Whether the voters knew it or not, THEY ARE GETTING WHAT THEY VOTED FOR.

But that doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. That is if the three council members who appear to be generally opposed to disbanding the police department take advantage of all of the procedural options the law provides to them. More about those options in a future post.

We aren't sure what Baehner and Cahill will do.

Rod Baehner can’t seem to make up his mind about disbanding the police department. First he uses Facebook to urge patience for the mismanaging Mayor Martin “outsourcing” plan. Then Baehner uses the same Facebook to ask “why would anyone ever support outsourcing?” As if that flip-flopping isn’t bad enough, Baehner recently commented, “If the residents all tell me they support outsourcing then I’d have to change my mind”.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that Baehner is no profile in courage. Real leaders do what they believe is right. They don’t bend with the political winds on something as important as eliminating the Villa Hills Police Department. As a wise man once said, “Even if everyone else disagrees with you, it doesn’t mean you are wrong”. Does Baehner understand that? We aren’t too sure.

Then there is Jim Cahill. By all accounts, a great guy. But it appears he is extremely conflict adverse. Maybe to the point where Cahill would shrug his shoulders and lament, “I am absolutely against outsourcing. Don’t support it at all. But Martin, Koenig, HBM-I and Wischer were elected too. They have the majority and majority rules. Oh, well”.

We aren't even sure if Cahill pushed very hard to get documentation for the $23,000-PLUS TAXPAYER-FUNDED BONUS Martin paid himself recently. Cahill is the resident finance guru after all. So don't look for him to do much outside of what is "safe".

We do understand. You have to pick your fights. But sometimes you do have to fight. Because if Martin gets his way and disbands the police department, there will be no going back.



WEDNESDAY UPDATE: They Think Its Hell

The Martin Chronicles is reminded of Harry Truman's famous response to supporters who shouted, "Give 'em hell, Harry!" as the President traveled along on his historic 1948 Whistle-stop campaign tour. How did Truman respond to the crowds? The man from Missouri would say, "I'll just tell the truth, and they'll think it's hell!"

We feel the same way. We frequently hear the Martinites bitterly complain that we are picking on their hero. We aren't picking on Villa Hills' malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin. We are simply giving our readers the facts.

Today we are reporting on yet another disgrace. The responsible parties? This time its the malevolent Martin, vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig, her puppet HBM-I and civic club ass clown extraordinaire General Zod.

What did these pinheads do now? They blocked the emergency road that used to run from the Franzen Field parking lot to the back of the facility. When we say "blocked", we mean BLOCKED.

These numbskulls didn't just run a chain across the road that could be easily removed. No, they had telephone pole-sized posts buried deep in the ground. WWII German General Erwin Rommel didn't do much better when he oversaw the construction of Hitler's Festung Europa.

We know what the civic club ass clowns, Tea party fanatics, St. Joker's Heavy Drinking Men, cat-haters, neo-Nazis, gun nuts and EDDIE are surely saying, "So what?" Well, we'll tell you what. Representatives from the fire department have made it abundantly clear that their emergency access to the back of the facility has now been taken away by this lame-brained move.

Let's say a child breaks a leg playing baseball on the back field. Now that Martin and his traveling band of nitwits have blocked the access road, an ambulance will have to risk breaking an axle, or worse, trying to get to the injured child.

Want to write that off like "pie-in-the-sky" like the gun-nuts and neo-Nazis do when the subject of Martin's SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE VILLA HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT is discussed? Well, a man had a heart attack on the ballfields just last year. Martin, Koenig, HBM-I and General Zod made it a whole lot harder for help to get to where it needs to be.

Think about it. The mendacious Martin, vile Koenig, Holly Boo-Boo and the ghastly General Zod's idiotic move demonstrates a complete lack of concern for the kids, the elderly and the handicapped-all of whom benefited from having the access road. People's lives may now be at greater risk.

When Holly Boo-Boo was questioned about the gang-of-four's jackass move at the last Safety Committee meeting, the best response she could come up with was babbling, "budee, budee, budee, that's all folks". Looney Tunes to be sure.

We can just hear it. After caving in and removing the barricades, the moronic Martin will say, "I didn't think about the safety of the kids then, but I am thinking about the safety of the kids now. I just looooooove Villa Hills."

The Minute Waltz

The Martin Chronicles may as well have been watching a government meeting in Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Zimbabwe or Iran. But we weren’t. We were watching yet another two-bit, tin-pot despot run roughshod over the rights of the public. This time it was in Villa Hills. The two-bit, tin-pot dictator? That would be malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin at the March 20 council fiasco.

Despite having “Public Comment” on his published agenda, the malevolent Martin refused to take any, uh, well, er, oh, how do you say it? “public comment”. What was his incredibly lame excuse? Martin said that public hearings would supposedly be held at some unnamed future date and no discussion of people’s concerns for his SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT would be tolerated.

How bad was it? Well, even one-term-councilman-failed-State-Senate-candidate-arrested-for-drunk-driving-while-transporting-a-box-of-marijuana-editorial-writing-about-how-much-he-hates-disadvantaged-children Jim Noll was busy passing out his business cards in the aftermath of the meeting. Why? He was telling attendees that he would represent them in a lawsuit against Martin for abusing their rights. This despite the fact that the unusual Noll supports the mendacious Martin’s SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

The media was correctly hard on the miscreant Martin for his heavy-handed actions. Television video showed an obviously enraged Martin coming around the council table to shout at an elementary school teacher who wanted nothing more than to know when she would be allowed to speak.

Why was Martin enraged? Because the thin-skinned dictator couldn’t stand the fact that former council people he thought he had ruined dared to attend his meeting. Martin should be mindful of the fact that losing an election does not equate to a loss of freedom of assembly. Even in the embarrassed burg of Villa Hills.

At least not for now. You see Martin signed an Executive Order-most likely assisted by his personal (now City) Attorney Toad McMurtry-that gives the little fella sweeping powers to have almost anyone arrested for almost any reason. Civil rights, schmivel rights. Rest assured, Toad McMurtry and Martin are just getting started with their overt abuse of power. Can Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch be far behind?

So what happens next? Martin and the vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig said they weren’t sure at the last monthly SECRET MEETING. What did they say? Well, maybe public comment will no longer be allowed. Or, maybe residents will be given one minute to speak. Oh, brothers and sisters, you had better talk fast. Or risk being arrested.

It is interesting that a fellow who didn’t know it wasn’t okay to forge a deceased person’s name on a check and cash it or illegally burn City documents or illegally run a handyman business without the proper licenses or cut himself a TAXPAYER-FUNDED $23,000-plus BONUS CHECK is suddenly twisting the law to protect his ham-handed, abusive behavior.

Tuesday News And Notes

The Martin Chronicles is fortunate to have a staff and web of sources large enough to keep up with all of the craziness in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's Villa Hills. It isn't easy. But we somehow manage.

Chucky's Child's Play.
Does anybody but his family give a tinker's dam about the tripe Plucky Chucky Fieger wrote in his letter-to-the-editor posted on the Voice of Villa Hills website? You probably don't remember or never knew that the meager Fieger was vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig's hand-picked mayoral candidate in a losing 2002 effort.

Chucky is parroting the Martin/Koenig spin that previous councilmembers were responsible for the riot at the March 20 council debacle-despite the fact they didn't even ask to speak. The eager Fieger takes it further suggesting these councilmembers shouldn't even be allowed to attend the meetings.

Chucky also parrots the Martin/Koenig excuse that the study is designed to see if Villa Hills can save time and money. A look at Crescent Springs' "outsourcing" debacle is just one example that shows no (response) time-savings. And if Martin really wants to save money, WHY DOES HE KEEP RAISING YOUR TAXES?

Schmucky Chucky goes even further, tastelessly condemning the former council people for having the nerve to attend church. No, really! Our suggestion? We would love nothing more than to see Yucky Chucky return to the obscurity in which he has resided for decades.

Ass Clown's React?
Multiple sources have reported that even some of the more strident Civic Club ass clowns are beginning to wake up to the fact that Martin has been LYING to them about his now-revealed SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Our reaction? The fact that they ever believed Martin is ample proof that they are indeed ass clowns.

Cabana Boy's Debut.
Mary Koenig's Cabana Boy Craig Bohman will begin his job as Martin's City-Administrator-disguised-as-a-City Clerk on Monday, April 15.  This one promises to be a hoot.

It's Not A Lie If You Believe It.
A few months back the mendacious Martin advised a member of the City's now-defunct Civil Service Commission that he wasn't going to re-appoint that member when his board term expired and Martin also said he was not going to replace the outgoing member of that board.

You probably won't be surprised to know that Martin then turned around and did replace the outgoing board member with former Covington Mayor Butch Callery. We suspect Martin will say his thinking evolved. Our response? What thinking?

Sources at the Kenton County Justice Center allege that former-one-term-councilman-failed-State-Senate-candidate-arrested-driving-drunk-through-a-police-barricade-while-transporting-a-box-of-marijuana-editorial-writing-hater-of-disadvantaged-children-Jim Noll was granted his recent continuance at his pre-trial hearing because his lawyer was securing documentation that Noll had entered a "treatment program".

Hearing this piece of news, a local wag quipped, "I wonder if Noll spending Good Friday at Irene's Little Bar in Crescent Springs tossing back beers with actual councilman Brian R. Wisher is part of his treatment program"?  

Anything is possible in Kenton County.

Personal-or City-Attorney?
Our reporters tell us that Martin's appointment of personal attorney Toad McMurtry to TAXPAYER-FUNDED City Attorney has really riled-up some of the natives. What do we say? Wait and see what happens when those natives get a snootful of McMurtry in action.

Our reporters also tell us that folks really, really, really want to know how the miscreant Martin can justify paying himself a "BONUS" of more that $23,000 of TAXPAYER MONEY. Rest assured that Martin has no intention of ever justifying anything. He doesn't have to. He is THE SUPERIOR, after all.



Transparency And Respect

The Martin Chronicles takes words very seriously. We understand that political hacks of all stripes misuse words to paper over what they are really doing. The word “investment” is used instead of government spending. The word “contribution” is a terrible euphemism for yet another tax. When politicians combine the words “shared” and “sacrifice”, grab on to your wallet because everyone is about to take it in the shorts.

Villa Hills’ malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin and vile ancient crocodile Councilman Mary Koenig are world-class political hacks. They are also quite fond of misusing words. Two of the many words Martin and Koenig misuse will be the focus of this post. Those words are “transparency” and “respect”. The complete lack of one led to the total disregard for the other.

First, let’s look at the correct definition of both words. Why? Because both the mendacious Martin and the loathsome Koenig love to tell people they live by those two words. Transparency is defined as “openness or clarity”. Respect is defined as “regard or admiration”.

We have recently learned with undeniable certainty that Martin has been secretly planning to disband the Villa Hills Police Department to contract with another agency for (LESS SAFE) protection. How did it happen? Martin slipped up when he was talking to a reporter from the dinosaur media. Perhaps that explains why Martin’s personal-and now TAXPAYER-FUNDED CITY- attorney Toad McMurtry has advised Martin to stop talking to the media.

 A recent newspaper article also betrays Martin’s persistent LIE that he was approached by officials from other Cities. The mayor of Ft. Mitchell was quite clear that it was Martin who approached him. We have told you for many months that Martin actually began his SECRET PLANNING even before he was elected in 2010. Officials from other Cities have now also confirmed this. There has been nothing the least bit transparent about this bit of Martin deceit.

We also now know that Martin actually had police officers from other Cities lined up to serve as supervisors right after he took office in 2011. The only thing that derailed this part of Martin’s plan was the fact that a Civil Service ordinance was passed that prevented the malevolent Martin from immediately firing Police Chief Dan Goodenough and Detective Joe Schutzman. The new council has stripped away those Civil Service protections. So look out.

Our last look at Martin’s phony claim of transparency. The mendacious mayor was presented with the opportunity of ending the monthly SECRET MEETINGS. How? Councilmembers Balson, Baehner and Cahill voted to televise those SECRET MEETINGS. Not surprisingly, the horrendous Koenig and her two puppets, HBM-I and Brian R. Wischer voted to continue the SECRECY. So how did the mendacious Martin vote to break the tie? The SECRETIVE SELF-APPOINTED SUPERIOR voted with Koenig and her drones to keep the meetings SECRET.

What about respect? The disgusting Koenig said that the previous council didn’t respect the residents when she spoke at the 2012 Hillbilly Hoedown misnamed a candidate forum. How is that working out?

Martin trampled all over the free speech and assembly rights of residents who attended the March 20 council meeting hoping to address their concern about Martin’s SECRET PLAN. Is that respect?

The March 20 disgrace is worse than that. Martin actually rose up out of his chair, came around the council table and began wagging his finger in the face of and yelling at an elementary school teacher who simply asked when she would be allowed to speak. Is that respect?

The March 20 disgrace is even worse than that. Martin demanded that Police Chief Dan Goodenough remove the elementary school teacher and anyone else who dare question the absolute authority of the miscreant mayor. Is that respect?

Following the disgrace of March 20, Martin signed an Executive Order in to law-mostly likely written by personal and now TAXPAYER- FUNDED City Attorney Toad McMurtry-that now provides the malevolent Martin with sweeping powers to arrest people he may designate as dissidents. Martin’s twisted thinking? Let’s scare the residents from any thought of attending council meetings and voicing opposition to MARTIN’S SECRET PLAN TO DISBAND YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT. Is that respect?

Special Counsel Phil Taliaferro had it exactly right last October when he said that former Councilmen Mike Pope’s and Jim Noll’s pathetic complicity in failing to remove the malfeasant mayor would unleash Martin’s LAWLESSNESS.
