The Martin Chronicles was first to announce that long-time Villa Hills resident Ernie Brown has filed the necessary paperwork to challenge malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin this fall. We look forward to covering what is sure to be a real fight. If 2010 taught us anything, it is that Martin is a REMARKABLY SKILLED LIAR WHO WILL PERNICIOUSLY PLUMB ANY DEPTHS TO WIN. The mud will surely be flying from the tiny tyrant's re-election campaign.
Mr. Brown started a Facebook page (It's easy to find. Simply search "Ernie Brown".) for his campaign and it is being absolutely overwhelmed with messages of strong support. That's a good early indicator of the public's mood and hunger for competent, honest government. You know, the things that have gone missing for the last nearly four dreadful years.
We are unable to confirm whether former Covington Mayor Irvin Callery has officially filed his papers to enter the Villa Hills mayor's race. We will continue to watch the Kenton County Courthouse.
