The Devil's In The Details

The Martin Chronicles investigative reporters have confirmed that Martin's request to take ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND TAXPAYER DOLLARS out of the City's cash reserves absolutely includes money to pay the incredible legal fees the diminutive dictator is generating. That is no longer a debatable issue.

We can understand why some people have been confused. The City Attorney only mentioned money for the pay-off of the City Building during his summary first reading of the ordinance that was done at the September council meeting. We knew something else was going on when one of the council people asked for an itemized list of the legal bills during the discussion of that first reading. Now, our suspicions are confirmed.

So, some portion of this ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND TAXPAYER DOLLARS has nothing at all to do with "freeing up money for street repair". When our investigators get a copy of the proposed ordinance we'll report the exact size of that portion.

We think even the most inattentive Villa Hills residents could come up with a simpler way to free up a few thousand dollars for some street repair. What would that be?

Perhaps Martin could stop squandering tens of thousands of dollars on lawyers and legal actions to further his ongoing vendetta.
