It Gets Even Worse

Prompted by a vague report from another news source, The Martin Chronicles has been digging into another in a long list of problems created by Mike Martin and his lack of coherent leadership. This is as serious as the many others we have reported to you. Martin may have yet again placed the taxpayers in financial jeopardy by his profound unprofessionalism.

Here are the questions we are digging in to:

• Has a councilman been sexually harassing a city employee?
• Was Mayor Martin made aware of the ongoing problem and foolishly dismissed it?
• Did a city employee receive a questionable e-mail from the councilman in question?
• Did the councilman in question try to blame the questionable e-mail on his five year old daughter?
• Has the city attorney engaged in a troubling cover-up, blaming everyone but the councilman in question-including "Chinese hackers"-for the ongoing problem?
• What is the city council doing to address the issue?
• Did the interim city clerk make "actionable" remarks about the employee who is allegedly the target of the harassment?
• Has the inexcusable behavior of the councilman in question AND Mayor Martin set the stage for yet another unnecessary lawsuit against the taxpayers?
