The Martin Chronicles beloved publisher welcomed the entire staff back from a well-deserved rest and relaxation break earlier today. He was very gratified to hear the concern being expressed. About what? The buzz all over town was, "What's up with the Martin Chronicles?"
Well, trying to cover the mayhem and mismanagement of malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin over the past twenty-one months would have worn Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein out even when they were in their primes.So, a brief respite was in order.
But don't worry. Our publisher has been developing several stories over the past week. The one thing our rapidly expanding readership can be assured of is the grisly pit the mendacious Martin is pulling the once-respected Villa Hills in to will never hit bottom. At least not until December 31. 2014.
We'll tease you with just a bit of news. One of the councilpeople who has been pushing hardest for outsourcing recently learned that the Kenton County Police will pull everybody and anybody over. No matter who they are or who they are related to.
