The Martin Chronicles entire staff knew "the score" long before we launched our pesky little blog way back on October 8, 2011. Why? Because we had done extensive investigation in to the twisted mind of Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin in advance. We came to the conclusion that Martin is a deeply twisted paranoiac very early on.
Some of you may be asking what a paranoiac is. So, we will tell you. Psychiatrists would say that a paranoiac has a mental disorder characterized by systematized delusions of grandeur ascribing hostile intentions to others, often linked with a sense of mission.
Well, Boy Howdy, doesn't that sound like someone we know all too well:
- How about a lowbrow unlicensed handyman lawbreaker who was caught red-handed FORGING his deceased mother's name on his deceased mother's checks, cashing them and pocketing the proceeds ascribing his misfortune for his judicially-verified crime of FORGERY to "dark forces who were out to get him?"
- How about a pissant potentate who routinely ends any serious discussion about the wisdom of his incredulous intentions by saying, "I'm the CEO. It's my decision. You need to deal with it. We're moving on?"
- How about a lunatic who is CONVICTED ON SEVEN OF NINE COUNTS OF OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT AND NEGLECT OF DUTY who assigns all of the blame for his his crimes to a City Council who "won't work with him"?
- How about a deceitful dictator who has now proven he really can't work with anyone. After promising to work with everyone on council during his dirtbag 2010 mayoral campaign, he immediately went to war with that council in January 2011. Then he flim-flammed the voters in 2012. claiming that all he needed was "a new council" and he could really show what he is capable of. He received six new councilmembers, but has never really tried to work with them. In a telling way, that clearly did show what Martin is capable of. It has been so very bad that the three best members of his once-"golden moment" council decided to simply walk away at the end of this year.
Like most sociopaths, the maniacal Martin is a tremendous con man. He seems able to convince people that he only cares about them. This while he spends their money at an alarming rate on lawyers and lawsuits and issues twenty-thousand dollar taxpayer-funded checks to himself.
- To those who despised the UNFAIR $40 PER CAR STICKER TAX, he soothingly vowed to repeal it. Not only is the UNFAIR $40 PER CAR STICKER TAX still being collected, Martin also raised the SNEAKY INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX BY FIFTY PER CENT.
- To those concerned about crime, Martin cunningly claimed that safety was his first priority. The diminutive deceiver then began to dismantle the local police department immediately after his election.
- To those who worried about their neighbor's cats, tall grass, high bushes, yada, yada yada, Martin cleverly pledged to put those issues at the top of his list. Instead, he focused his time spending taxpayer money to hire all of his friends and cronies.
Don't worry. Martin will have a lie to tell for everything. He'll vow that his next few years will be better. He'll keep his fingers double-crossed, assuming you will fall for it once again.
Why so serious?
The Martin Chronicles has been receiving calls and emails for some time now from several sources telling us that we should investigate the allegedly close connection between a current, "holier-than-thou" Villa Hills City Council candidate-who serves on malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's Safety and Finance Committees and a former Villa Hills councilperson-who was also a failed State Senate candidate in 2012 and was later arrested for running a police barricade while transporting marijuana. We aren't providing much additional detail at this point because the rumors about this alleged close connection are-to say the least-salacious.
We have to admit that there has been a great deal of thoughtful discussion in the offices of The Martin Chronicles about whether or not to pursue the persistent rumors of this allegedly sordid connection. Most of our reluctance to do so stems from the fact that we would prefer the quickly coming election to be about the many issues facing the troubled town of Villa Hills.
But, we have come to the conclusion that we are going to-at least sometimes-operate in the wicked world that the miscreant Martin himself has created. Martin is the one who grabbed power by telling lie after lie after lie after lie after lie. Martin and his cronies have tried to deflect attention away from their own incompetence and corruption by falsely destroying the reputations of other fine people who certainly deserve far better. So, here we are.
Martin and his dirtbag cronies have spent huge sums of taxpayer money falsely portraying anyone who dares oppose them as people off ill-will and bad behavior. This distasteful taxpayer-funded tactic has been an absolute disgrace. But-so far any way-it has also been effective. Buttressed by idiots who have taken to podiums to proclaim that "this mayor (Martin) does great things for people", Martin and his dirtbag cronies have stepped up their campaign of defamation and deceit.
If someone is going to falsely portray themselves as some kind of courageous, concerned citizen who supposedly worries about the safety of residents simply because a local police officer actually wants to eat a meal at a restaurant, we have to see what really motivates the actions of that "concerned citizen". So we will.
It was the business genius H. Ross Perot who once famously said, "If someone's spouse can't trust them, how can I?" Furthermore, how can the taxpayers trust that person to be a true guardian of their interests?
To that end, we are sending our best investigative reporters to the Kenton County Courthouse later today. They will be armed with case numbers and Open Records Request forms. These reporters will be ready to bring back any information.
And we will report it all to you.
The Martin Chronicles understands the significance today. Do you? We hope so. Why? Because two months from this date Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin and his entire cast of dishonest cronies face their fate before the voters.
November 4 is a very big day. Voters will have the opportunity to send Martin, Mary Koenig, Brian Wischer, Holly B. Menninger-Isenhour, Summer Berger, Dave Hilgeford, the mysterious Jennifer Vaden, General Zod and his civic club ass clowns and others to the place they rightfully belong. And that is "the outside desperately looking in".
You see, Martin and his entire cast of dishonest cronies are nothing more than a dishonest band of liars who only want power because they believe it justifies there sorry existence. Yes, it's very sad. But, it's also very true.
It's all up to the voters in just 60 days.
The Martin Chronicles reporters have been talking to several people who have had to suffer through Villa Hills malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's acerbic attacks against one of his three mayoral opponents, Irvin Callery. Some of these folks told our reporters that Martin made their "skin crawl" as the little liar spitefully lambasted Callery while simultaneously holding the hand of his poor granddaughter.
There is little doubt that Martin has been honing his asinine attacks against Callery with the asshats at the Villa Hills Civic Club. While those dunces most likely lapped-up the miniature Mussolini's lies, reasonable, intelligent people seem to be appalled.
Let's examine just a few of Martin's mean-spirited attacks against Irvin Callery and post our own observations:
Martin: "Callery is just a Covington carpet-bagger who has only lived in Villa Hills for about three years."
The Martin Chronicles: That is only partly true. But keep in mind that Covington is much closer to Villa Hills than Martin's own hometown of Norwood. We also think the term carpet-bagger is very unfair. Hey, at least Callery isn't some flim-flam man operating an unlicensed handyman business preying on unsuspecting residents in Northern Kentucky.
Martin: "Callery was asleep at the switch as former Finance Director Bob Due embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars out of Covington's treasury."
The Martin Chronicles: Again, that is partly true. But the misdirecting Martin was absolutely wide awake when he hired his close friend Cordelia Schaber-and continues to pay her the disgraceful taxpayer-funded sum of $47.50 per hour-to totally foul-up Villa Hills' financial records.
Martin: "Now I can't be sure, but how do you know Callery didn't somehow benefit from Bob Due's embezzlement?"
The Martin Chronicles: Well, here's how we know didn't benefit from Bob Due's embezzlement. If Democrat Covington Mayor Irvin Callery was in any way involved in that embezzlement, the Republican-controlled County Prosecutors would have made damn sure that he ended up in prison.
Here are just a very few things we do know about Villa Hills' malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin:
- Four respected judges officially opined in writing that Martin's 2007 forgery arrest was completely justified because his actions "fit the very definition of forgery".
- Martin received a confidential reprimand from the Villa Hills Ethics Board for his misuse of City personnel and resources.
- Martin was severely chastised by a respected judge for his ILLEGAL destruction of City records.
- Martin allowed his wife Janet to work on the failed State Senate campaign of then-Councilmember Jim Noll, even while Noll was tasked with deciding whether or not Martin should be removed from office in October, 2012.
- Martin was convicted on seven of nine counts of OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT AND NEGLECT OF DUTY.
- Martin signed an Executive Order that gave him the POWER TO ARREST ANYONE WHO DISAGREED WITH HIM AT PUBLIC MEETINGS.
- Martin broke a tie vote which led to the hiring of his personal attorney Toad V. McMurtry to serve as the taxpayer-funded Villa Hills City Attorney. More than a half-million dollars wasted on lawyers and legal actions? Really?
- Martin signed a City Purchase Order that put more than $23,000 in his own pocket.
- Martin's long-kept-secret-by-incessant-lying, radical plan to disband the Villa Hills Police Department was accidentally revealed by the tiny tyrant's slip of the tongue in 2013.
- Martin not only broke his solemn vow to repeal the UNFAIR $40 PER CAR STICKER TAX, he also convinced his formerly "golden moment" city council to RAISE YOUR SNEAKY INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX BY FIFTY PER CENT FOR ROAD WORK THAT HAS NEVER, EVER BEEN DONE.
- Martin has squandered more than FIFTEEN THOUSAND TAXPAYER DOLLARS ON A PARK ALMOST NO ONE USES as a "political favor" to current Councilmembers Mary Koenig, Brian Wischer and Holly B. Menninger-Isenhour.
- Martin LIED TO EVERYONE when he FALSELY told the media that former Police Chief Dan Goodenough was "taking a few days off" after Martin and City Attorney Toad V. McMurtry had already delivered an ultimatum to Goodenough to either resign or be publically humiliated and then fired.
- Martin allowed MORE THAN SIX THOUSAND TAXPAYER DOLLARS to be paid to the Lexington-based law firm that is responsible for handling his personal liability in several lawsuits the miniature mullah generated by his reckless behavior.
Sure, Irvin Callery may not be the best choice for Villa Hills' next mayor. But he's a damn sight better than the incompetent and corrupt Martin. At least Callery isn't a wanton lawbreaker.
We'll know what happens in just 61 days.
The Martin Chronicles reporters hear the chatter all over malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's troubled Villa Hills. Many people are wondering aloud why current Councilmember and long-time, close "friend" of unlicensed handymen, Holly B. Menninger-Isenhour, has decided to run for mayor. We have to admit that we get a good laugh when someone wants asks what her "thought process" is. Seriously?
Well, anyway, there are a number of theories that abound. This post will explore some of those theories. The Martin Chronicles will report. You will decide.
First, there is the obvious possibility. Perhaps Menninger-Isenhour has finally awakened to the fact-as so many others are doing-that Martin is nothing more than a deeply corrupt and hopelessly incompetent nincompoop. Menninger-Isenhour has seen the sputtering and deceitful Martin in action up close now for nearly two dreadful years. Maybe she simply feels a civic-minded obligation to rid the city of the pernicious plague known as "Martin".
Second, there are the conspiracy theories. Here is one. Some are absolutely convinced that the misdirecting Martin somehow convinced Menninger-Isenhour to-as-the-dinosaur-media-so-tediously-wrote-"throw her hat in the ring". These conspiracy theorists believe that the malevolent Martin is banking on Menninger-Isenhour sucking off votes from his other two opponents.
While we promised to let you decide, we do offer this view. In our humble opinion, Menninger-Isenhour is far more likely to suck off the voters who would otherwise likely support the miscreant Martin. Think about it. Both share a common base of support with their long-time friends, the civic club asshats.
Third, there is the conspiracy theory making its way around town that the vile, ancient crocodile Councilmember Mary Koenig convinced Menninger-Isenhour to make a run for the mayor's office. Why? Because the always-conniving Koenig is offering up mostly-distaff council candidates (with the notorious exception of Dave Hilgeford) for 2014 voters. Summer Berger. The mysterious Jennifer Vaden. So-as this conspiracy theory goes-why not a distaff mayor?
Koenig does have a long, well-documented history of offering up other mayors as "human shields". Most reasonable people realize that Koenig ruthlessly used a previous mayor to achieve her "sausage-stabbing" goal of getting Dennis Stein, Bob and Sue Kramer and Michael "Corky" Brown. When her plans went south then, Koenig ran for the tall grass and left her "human shield mayor" to be hung by the neck until dead.
Most reasonable people also realize that the vile and disgusting Koenig convinced that poor sap Chuck Fieger to run for mayor in 2002. Despite Koenig's patented "whispering campaign" to the city's long-time haters, Fieger was unable to get out of his own clumsy way and went down to an embarrassingly ignominious defeat.
Koenig's foul fingerprints are also all over the crazy Mike Pope's 2006 write-in run for the mayor's office. Koenig so upset the unstable Pope that she almost sent him to an untimely demise on the final weekend before the 2006 election by filling his twisted mind with all manner of lies. If you would like, we'd be happy to share our recording of Mike Pope's nearly-suicidal actions that the evil Mary Koenig provoked.
Even our long-time readers might be surprised to learn that the crusty Koenig was a behind-the-scenes, top aide-de-camp for the malicious Martin's dishonest 2010 mayoral campaign. Sources have confirmed that Koenig spent many a campaign day working her vile and disgusting haters for votes. She actually assisted Martin construct his calumnious 2010 mayoral campaign, built on lie after lie after lie after lie after lie.
Our long-time readers may also be surprised that Koenig was a prime mover in the hiring of Martin's personal-and now City-Attorney Toad V. McMurtry and "photo bug" City Clerk/City Administrator Craigory T. Bohman. Sources inside Martin's recent four-year Reign of Error have provided indisputable truth.
People also wonder aloud if Menninger-Isenhour has the "gravitas" to turn the City around after four years of the mendacious Martin's tumult, uncertainty and deceit. Given her well-known reputation at the civic club and elsewhere, people are still amazed that Menninger-Isenhour doesn't understand the difference between "vertical" and "horizontal" on a budget spreadsheet. Many folks have said that difference should be right up Menninger-Isenhour's alley, so to speak.
All voters really need to know about Menninger-Isenhour is that she was happily singing the song made famous by the 70's band Steam, "Na, Na, Na, Na, Hey, Hey, Hey Goodbye", as she left the City Building to head over to the civic club immediately after former Police Chief Dan Goodenough was hideously screwed out of his job by the malicious Martin and his taxpayer-funded goon squad. We guess that made General Zod happy. But, seriously?
Will voters really elect Menninger-Isenhour to mayor of a once-proud city just because the even-more, vile and disgusting Mary Koenig tells them to in just 62 days?
We report. You decide.
The Martin Chronicles is really starting to feel it now. It's in the air. Sure, it's been awfully hot and humid of late. But the Labor Day weekend reminds us that the cooler winds and falling leaves of autumn are right around the corner. And so is the all-out war that's about to be waged by multiple camps for control of Villa Hills'-currently-hopelessly-bogged-down-in-incompetence-and-corruption-City Government.
For those of you who are sick and tired of incumbent, malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's endless, wasteful and inexplicably stupid antics, we have a very strong warning. Do not-repeat-do not think that's Martin's certainly-deseved ouster is a foregone conclusion.
Why? Because the nasty nitwit Martin has already proven how he is able to feast on what radio colossus Rush Limbaugh refers to as "low-information voters":
- Martin was elected to the mayor's office by telling all manner of slanderous-and-never-even-attempted-to-be-proven-lies in 2010.
- Martin successfuly swept away the previous City Council by telling everyone the-now-we-know-masssive-lie that all he needed was "a City Council that would work with him" in 2012.
- Besides, we know that several civic club asshats have accidentally revealed that they plan to launch a false-and defamatory-campaign against their equally-corrupt buddy Martin's 2014 mayoral opponents. The grisly gargoyle General Zod has already begun that calumnious campaign.
- Then there is the addle-minded Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Holly B. Menninger-Isenhour who has been trolling the "low-information" voters slanderously alleging that the best mayoral candidate is a "drug addict who has assembled a team of people hell-bent on destroying Villa Hills". As absolutely crazy as that baseles claim sounds to reasonable people, some "low-information" voters may be persuaded.
- Several sources have also confirmed that vile, ancient Councilwoman Mary Koenig has already launched her battle-tested-and dishonest-"whispering campaign".
- But the evil "star of the show" remains the mendacious Martin. He has already taken his poor granddaughter to traverse the St. Joe's "End Of Summer" Church Festival spreading all manner of licentious lies about his mayoral opponents. That is only the very beginning.
Let's face it. The mismanaging Martin has no positive accomplishments around which he can build an issues-based re-election campaign. Martin is dumber than a cracked cinder block, but even he knows that the events of the past four, dreadful years do not-in-and-of-themselves-provide him a winning hand to play.
Martin used trite, inocuous campaign slogans in 2010. Don't you remember? "Mike Martin: A Fresh Start", "Mike Martin: Safety is my first priority", and the biggest, unnecessary whopper of all, "Mike Martin: Restoring Truth And Integrity To The Mayor's Office". In retrospect, that slogan came from someone who is totally detached from reality.
Just imagine these grim-reality based 2014 Martin campaign slogans:
- "Mike Martin: Ask not what your City Government can do for you, ask how much more of my personal legal fees you can pay to Turner, Sturgill, Baker & Moloney, PLLC."
- "Mike Martin: Destroying your local police department continues to be my first priority."
- "Mike Martin: I was only convicted on seven of 9 counts of Official Misconduct and Neglect of Duty."
- "Mike Martin: A Fresh Start for another four terrible years of unnecessary spending on lawyers and legal actions."
- "Mike Martin: I just need one more complete set of six councilmembers to show you what I can really do."
- "Mike Martin: I deserved more than the $23,000 check I signed the PO for and all of my personal legal fees for all of the legal actions my reckless behavior I have triggered paid because I'm just so, so busy with my unlicensed handyman business."
- "Mike Martin: a Craigory in every garage and two Toads in every pot."
- "Mike Martin: I like tax hikes."
- "Mike Martin: Crony-hire, taxpayer-funded, incompetent, $47.50 per hour bucket-headed bookkeeper Cordelia is the one."
- "Mike Martin: it's my personal enrichment, stupid."
- "Mike Martin: Building a taxpayer-funded bridge to my relief from all of the personal legal exposure I've created."
- "Mike Martin: Yes, we can continue to ram new taxes down your unsuspecting throats."
We have a suggestion for the anti-Martin campaign slogan. We are borrowing it from one of the slogans Lyndon Johnson used against Barry Goldwater in the 1964 Presidential Campaign.
"In your guts, you know Martin is nuts."
The Martin Chronicles entire staff is looking forward to the upcoming Labor Day Weekend. Our beloved publisher is taking all of us out on the river Sunday on his yacht. Why? For a little "R & R" while we enjoy the annual fireworks show.
But there is method to our beloved publisher's madness. You see, the real "fireworks" begin next week in malfeasant Mayor Mike Martin's Villa Hills. Why?
